Nik Walker - Bass
London born bass player Nik was a co-founder/member of Old Tennis Shoes, a legendary rock/blues band from the north-west of England. A band whose musical influence over several decades has been noted by the Dutch social history institute.
Toured Europe extensively playing in halls, pubs, cafe bars, festivals, stadiums and other major venues throughout Europe and the Netherlands, including iconic venues such as Paradiso and the Melkweg in Amsterdam. He also made several TV appearances including Musikladen and Countdown. Played support act for bands like Ten Years After, Herman Brood and his Wild Romance, Normaal, The Troggs, Groundhogs and so many more.... Inspired by bass gurus such as John Entwistle, John Paul Jones, Roger Glover and Glenn Hughes. Musical influences: Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, AC/DC and most stops b'twixt 'n' b'tween. |
